12667 Associate Wealth Manager

Primary responsibilities include: 

This Associate Wealth Manager role directly supports one of our client’s Senior Wealth Managers in delivering financial planning solutions and investment advice for clients. The AWM serves as a member of an advisory team dedicated to high client retention and satisfaction. Together they help clients meet their long-term financial goals, which includes crafting customized solutions to complex tax, estate, retirement, and insurance issues for clients. 

Our client equips Associate Wealth Managers with the training, education, and experience needed to progress to a Wealth Manager role, and eventually a Senior Wealth Manager. This role is not expected to source new client relationships but there is a financial incentive for successful business development efforts.  

Required Education, Skills & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Personal Financial Planning (or relevant finance-related field), with a minimum GPA of 3.0 
  • Certified Financial Planner™ designation is required 
  • 2-5 years of financial planning experience; experience serving high-net-worth clients with complex planning issues is highly preferred 
  • Experience with Financial Planning software (e.g. Tamarac, Money Guide Pro, E-Money, Schwab) 
  • Excellent work references from former direct supervisors 
  • Confident self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial atmosphere and believes in team-approach to client service 
  • Strong Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects 
  • Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality when dealing with client matters 
  • Must consent to and have a favorable credit report and background check
