12706 CSMS Compliance Engineer

Our client is seeking a candidate who has experience in conducting compliance audits to ensure adherence to automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations.  UN Regulation No. 155 covers the uniform provisions for vehicle cybersecurity and cybersecurity management systems. The requirements of this regulation can be closely mapped to the requirements laid out in ISO 21434 – Road Vehicles – Cyber Security. This candidate needs to be an SME in this type of compliance and will work closely with the team to make sure the projects meet standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a CSMS compliance engineer on the Product Cybersecurity Operations Team supporting Industry, Governance, and Compliance capabilities in the Product Cybersecurity Group you will be responsible for:
* Conducting compliance audits to ensure adherence to automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations.
* Developing, maintaining, and managing compliance auditing schedules, plans, and processes
* Providing consultation to design groups, cybersecurity engineers, and other cross-functional teams as necessary to support compliance
* Ad-hoc support as a technical expert of PCG services and programs as required.
* Up to 15% travel may be required for this role.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:  This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:  This role is on-site in Plano, Texas. This position may require up to 15% travel.
