12739 Product Owner – Data Analytics

Our client os searching for a data product owner who will be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of specific data products. They are responsible for understanding customer needs, prioritizing features, and ensuring the successful delivery of the product.   Their focus is on managing the development, use, and performance of data products by ensuring the products delivered to the customer are aligned with the organization vision, objectives to deliver tangible business value.
 They work with stakeholders, both technical and business, to strategize, gather requirements, build valued data products, and continually iterate to improve the products. They are responsible for providing domain data that is discoverable, accessible, explainable, trusted, and accurate.  They collaborate across the IT and Data teams to ensure that products have a vision for execution covering all aspects of business needs and requirements to delivery across data to deliver specific forward-looking data products (End to end including data science)

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with all data teams to ensure that the flow of data product delivery is seamless, measurable and clearly outlines the ROI for every data product.

Understand customer needs and business objectives to define the strategic direction of data products.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features accordingly.

Define data product requirements, features, and functionality in alignment with business objectives.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and robust data products.

Ensure the deployment of scalable and robust data products to improve decision-making and performance across the organization.

Ensure that data products are discoverable, accessible, explainable, trusted, and accurate.

Develop the go-to-market strategy for all data products in partnership with business teams.

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive product awareness and adoption.

Develop the end-to-end execution strategy of how a business transforms from a data and information asset lens (includes asset inventory, creation, consolidation, insight generation and delivery)

Oversee the flow of data product delivery, ensuring measurability and outlining the ROI for each product.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Data Product Owner or similar role in managing data products from conception to delivery.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, quality, and privacy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and driving product adoption is preferred.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for product management is a plus.
