12767 Salesforce CPQ Administrator

Our client is seeking a part-time, skilled Salesforce CPQ Administrator to aid their team in leveraging their Salesforce w/CPQ implementation.  In this role, you will be responsible for managing and customizing the Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) platform to enhance sales processes and drive efficiency.  This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystems with a focus on CPQ functionalities.

• Provide insight into features, functions, and capabilities of Salesforce CPQ that would be beneficial to implement within our environment.
• As-needed communicate/coordinate with our Salesforce Developer to address issues/concerns and necessary development.
• Administer and configure Salesforce CPQ to meet business requirements, including product setup, pricing rules, quote templates, and approval workflows.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure Salesforce CPQ aligns with business strategies and supports efficient quote-to-cash processes.
• Maintain the integrity and functionality of the CPQ platform, ensuring high levels of performance, accuracy, and security.
• Develop and implement new CPQ features and custom solutions within Salesforce to streamline operations and improve user experience.
• Provide training and support to end-users, helping them utilize CPQ tools effectively and adopt new features.
• Manage CPQ software updates, system testing, and deployment of new functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce CPQ.
• Generate and maintain documentation on CPQ processes, configurations, and relevant training materials.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Salesforce CPQ Specialist or extensive experience managing Salesforce CPQ implementations.
• Proficiency in Salesforce administration, with a solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and data models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across different teams and disciplines.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Skills:
• Experience with other Salesforce products like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the broader Salesforce platform.
• Experience in integrating Salesforce CPQ with other business systems (ERP, CRM, etc.).
