12773 IT Manager

Our client is looking for a new IT Manager.  Their network is a hybrid cloud-based network infrastructure that includes VPNs, firewalls, cyber-security services, network monitoring applications, trouble ticketing systems, etc.  They are a Microsoft shop for remote device management, end-point security, productivity, collaboration, cloud storage, and communications.  Their end-user device environment encompasses company-issued/managed Windows and Mac laptops/desktops, company-issued/managed iPhones and iPads, and unmanaged BYOD iPhones and Android smartphones.  Their corporate employees are “customers” of our company’s Internet and voice services.


  • The IT Manager will manage outsourced MSP and collaborate to plan and execute the IT aspect of the company’s growth plan.
  • The IT Manager will be the Administrator of MS365/Exchange accounts, internal broadband, Hosted Voice, and mobile wireless services.
  • The IT Manager is responsible for inside connectivity, LAN/WIFI network, switches, SIP phones, etc., and from the service hand-off demarcation point(s).
  • The IT Manager will be responsible for maintaining and managing, set-up, configuration, supplies, and service contracts for printers, scanners, faxes, multifunction devices, and similar throughout company our offices.
  • Additionally, the IT Manager shall:
    • design and execute projects to improve processes, systems and operations;
    • manage hardware and software purchasing (including new employee onboarding/setup);
    • create and maintain accurate asset management records;
    • proactively jump in and lead with support issues as needed.
    • own the IT Service management process with focus on excellent user experience.

This position requires a daily presence in our client’s Plano, TX office (with flexibility to work remotely on select days of the week). Local candidates only. No relocation or work visa assistance provided. This role is NOT a WFH role.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Enterprise IT Support Management.
  • Experience working at large scale Enterprise or UcaaS organizations preferred.

Technical Domains

  • LAN Administration, SaaS productivity and identity management tools.
  • Enterprise Grade Firewall configuration and Support
  • Deploying and supporting user endpoints, including MDM, BYOD, Desktop, Laptop.
  • Knowledge of security, identity management, productivity, communications, and collaboration applications.
  • Experience with Solarwinds, Remedy, Service Now, etc.

  • Excellent customer service, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and communication.
  • Ability to leverage internal and vendor teams to improve processes, systems and maximize resources.
