Our client in Plano, Texas is seeking a Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new dealer clients. This role manages the full sales cycle from initial outreach through signed agreement, ensuring a seamless transition to the Implementation team following deal closure.
The Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact during the sales process, builds strong relationships with prospective clients, and communicates the value of the platform through consultative selling. This role operates within a structured, performance- driven sales process, ensuring consistent pipeline activity, accurate forecasting, and achievement of revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
• Identify and prospect new dealer opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other sales channels.
• Research target accounts and key decision-makers within dealerships.
• Maintain consistent daily activity levels to build and sustain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and sales readiness.
Sales Process Management
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand dealership needs, pain points, and business
objectives.
• Present and demonstrate the platform, clearly communicating value and ROI.
• Develop and deliver customized proposals aligned with client needs.
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting within CRM systems.
Relationship Management & Closing
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients throughout the sales
process.
• Address objections, negotiate terms, and guide prospects toward successful deal closure.
• Follow up consistently to maintain engagement and momentum in the sales cycle.
• Secure signed agreements and ensure all required documentation is completed.
Handoff & Deal Transition
• Ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Implementation following deal closure.
• Communicate all relevant deal details, expectations, and client requirements to the
Implementation team.
• Set clear expectations with clients regarding onboarding timelines and next steps.
CRM Management & Reporting
• Document all sales activities, communications, and deal progress within CRM systems.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline data for reporting and forecasting.
• Track performance against sales goals and key performance indicators.
Internal Collaboration
• Partner with Implementation, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to support sales efforts.
• Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and product enhancements.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing sales development initiatives.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) preferred
• Familiarity with SaaS or dealership operations is a plus
