Key Responsibilities:
Lead the management and maintenance of the company’s Fortinet firewall and SD-WAN solutions, ensuring network security and reliability.
Oversee connectivity across our 600+ locations, including the configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and access points.
Direct network infrastructure projects, such as upgrades, migrations, and expansions, to enhance overall efficiency and performance.
Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and implement proactive measures to identify and resolve issues.
Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT support, security, and operations, to ensure seamless network operations.
Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and contributions.
Job Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration or a related field, with a focus on managing firewalls and SD-WAN solutions.
– Strong expertise in Fortinet firewall and SD-WAN solutions, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
– Proven experience in managing connectivity across multiple locations, including routers, switches, and access points.
– Familiarity with cloud networking technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
– Proficient knowledge of LAN and WAN networking technologies, protocols, and hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
– Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and other network protocols.
– Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide effective solutions.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
