With more than 35 years of experience in staffing and talent acquisition, Shelley Amason has established herself as a trailblazing entrepreneur, inspiring leader, and industry innovator. As the founder, President, and CEO of RightStaff, Inc.—a premier national staffing firm—Shelley has built her career on a foundation of integrity, innovation, and a customer-first approach. Since founding RightStaff in 1998, she has guided the company to extraordinary success, delivering tailored staffing solutions with unmatched speed and precision across a diverse range of industries.

Shelley’s remarkable achievements have been widely recognized throughout her career. In 2024, she was honored as one of the Top 500 CEOs in Dallas-Fort Worth by Dallas CEO Magazine and named one of DFW’s Rising Stars Under 40. Her empathetic leadership style empowers her team and clients alike, cementing her status as an influential force in the staffing industry.

A passionate advocate for giving back, Shelley has served on several boards throughout her career. She is currently a member of the Board of Debt Education and Certification Foundation and previously served on the boards of Irving Cares and the Entrepreneur Organization. She is also actively involved in the Women Presidents’ Organization, where she continues to champion community engagement and leadership development. Shelley has further demonstrated her commitment to mentoring and youth development by serving as a mentor for NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship), acting as a Mentor Host for North Texas Youth, and hosting events for the World Affairs Council.

While Shelley’s professional accomplishments are impressive, her greatest pride lies in her family. She is the proud mother of two children: Alivia, 22, a senior at the University of South Carolina, and Cash, 18, a senior at Shelton School, who plans to attend college in the fall. Shelley’s ability to balance a thriving career with her dedication to family and community is a testament to her exceptional character and leadership.
