Our client in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Data Integration Specialist. In this hybrid role (3 days per week on-site), you will perform these Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Integration Solutions: Create and implement integration workflows, gathering business requirements, identifying data sources, and integrating with target systems.
- Develop Data Integration Processes: Build and configure ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for seamless data flow between systems, including data warehouses, Azure, Workday, Medius, and other applications.
- Maintain Data Warehouse Integration: Ensure the effective integration of ERP systems and other sources into data warehouses, ensuring data is up to date for Power BI reports and business analysis.
- Implement EDI File Transmission: Configure and manage EDI message transmission between trading partners, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Workday and Medius Integration: Integrate Azure with Workday and Medius for smooth accounts payable automation and optimized invoice processing.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with business analysts, data architects, and system administrators to gather requirements and deliver optimal integration solutions.
- Ensure Data Quality: Implement validation mechanisms to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data that meets business standards.
- Optimize Performance: Analyze integration processes to identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements for higher efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation on integration processes, configurations, and workflows. Provide insightful reports on integration activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with trends in Azure, Dell Boomi, API integrations, and industry best practices to improve integration processes.
Qualifications:
We are looking for 7 years of experience with Azure, SQL as well as an API tool.
- Experience with Azure tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure SQL Database.
- Extensive SQL experience with tools like SSMS, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Expertise in building and managing Dell Boomi processes, APIs, and utilizing frameworks such as message queuing, complex mapping, and scripting (JavaScript, Groovy).
- Proficient in integration technologies such as HTTP Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON, and flat files.
- Familiarity with JDBC, JMS adapters, and Web Service protocols (SOAP/REST/WSDL).
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns like Pub/Sub Messaging, EIP, Event-Driven Architecture, SOA, and iPaaS.
- Experience maintaining and enhancing existing APIs.
- Proficient in Boomi Atom Management, process reporting, deployments, and API management.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle, MS-SQL Server, MySQL).
- Knowledge of EDI X12/EDIFACT transaction sets and managing both real-time and scheduled processes.
- Strong skills in technical design, interface design, client interaction, development, and code review.
