Our client in Plano, Texas is seeking a Project Manager-Software Implementations who will lead and coordinate a high volume of software implementation and conversion projects within a fast-growing, acquisition-driven organization. This role requires strong execution, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage complex initiatives with overlapping timelines. The Project Manager will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to ensure successful onboarding, deployment, and go-live of cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 80–100 active software implementation and conversion projects, balancing priorities, timelines, and dependencies
- Lead end-to-end project execution, including onboarding, implementation planning, milestone tracking, and go-live coordination
- Partner closely with Sales during project initiation to ensure smooth handoffs and clear client expectations
- Own project timelines, deliverables, and readiness assessments to ensure successful deployments
- Coordinate software training resources and support implementation activities across multiple stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project tracking tools, dashboards, and implementation plans to monitor progress and risks
- Support clients transitioning from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms, including multi-site and enterprise environments
- Identify risks and issues early and proactively drive resolution to keep projects on track
- Provide regular project status updates and visibility to internal teams and leadership
- Continuously improve implementation processes, documentation, and delivery standards

- Gong – Call documentation and client engagement playback
- Excel – Reporting, resource planning, and implementation tracking
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent software implementation or conversion projects
- Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage complex, fast-paced workloads
- Experience working closely with Sales and client-facing teams
- Solid understanding of SaaS implementations and cloud-based systems
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Experience supporting organizations undergoing growth through acquisition
- Background in healthcare, veterinary, or technology environments
- Experience developing standardized project templates, dashboards, and workflows
