Our client in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking an experienced Contract Senior Accountant with a Big Four public accounting background to support our finance team on an on-site basis in Grand Prairie. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in balance sheet accounting, general ledger management, and audit support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Oversee and maintain the general ledger
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support internal and external audits, including providing documentation and explanations
- Work closely with auditors to address inquiries and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Big Four public accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of balance sheet and general ledger accounting
- Proven experience working through audits
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on-site in Grand Prairie
