Our client in Farmington Hills, Michigan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate IT Technical Lead with 3 to 5 years of experience to join their dynamic IT team. This position is ideal for a candidate who has the potential to step into a leadership role and lead projects as a technical resource. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our IT applications, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.
Technical Leadership:
- Assist in leading small to medium-sized projects, acting as the primary technical resource.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Development & Enhancement:
- Develop and enhance applications based on business needs, utilizing best practices in coding and development.
System Integration:
- Integrate new applications with existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.
Application Support:
- Support and maintain existing IT applications, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Perform regular system monitoring, tuning, and maintenance tasks.

- Diagnose and resolve application-related issues, implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of application development processes, configurations, and changes.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in IT application engineering or a similar role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar. Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle).
Project Management: Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Ability to lead projects and manage technical resources.
