What you’ll be doing:

Participation in project requirement documentation and web application feature design

• Per assigned project requirements:
  1. Implementation and testing of new web applications
  2. Augmentation of existing web applications with new features and capabilities
  3. Defect corrections and general UX improvements
• Design and implementation of testing suites for applications
• Secure coding best practices
• Performant coding best practices
• Participation in application documentation and training

What we’re looking for:

Required skills:

• Proficiency with the following:
  1. Front-end technologies:
     • JavaScript
     • CSS and Bootstrap
     • HTML 5
  2. Frameworks:
     • Spring
     • AngularJS
     • jQuery
  3. Backend Technologies:
     • Java
     • Preprocessing Templates (e.g. JSP or Velocity)
     • Relational SQL Database (MySQL preferred)
  4. Unix-like operating systems
  5. Windows operating systems
  6. Web application security
     • Best practices
     • OWASP Top 10
  7. Git version control
• Oral Communication
