In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Actively manage and maintain the company’s Fortinet firewall and SD-WAN solutions to ensure network security and reliability.
- Manage connectivity across our 600+ locations, including configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and access points.
- Lead network infrastructure projects, such as upgrades, migrations, and expansions, to enhance the overall efficiency and performance.
- Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and implement proactive measures to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT support, security, and operations, to ensure the seamless operation of the network.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration or a related field, with a focus on managing firewalls and SD-WAN solutions.
- Strong expertise in Fortinet firewall and SD-WAN solutions, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in managing connectivity across multiple locations, including routers, switches, and access points.
- Familiarity with cloud networking technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
- Proficient knowledge of LAN and WAN networking technologies, protocols, and hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and other network protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adept at managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Network Automation and Orchestration
