Our client is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who will work from their onsite office in Chennai, India.
The Senior Systems Architect is responsible for designing and implementing complex systems and networks. This role requires a strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead technical projects. The Senior Systems Architect will work closely with various stakeholders to align the company’s IT infrastructure with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
System Design and Architecture
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure IT systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain system architecture documentation, including diagrams, models, and guidelines.
- Ensure the alignment of system architecture with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Technical Leadership
- Lead technical projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects, developers, and IT staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of systems and technologies.
Evaluation and Implementation
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system performance and capabilities.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and ensure their integration into existing systems.
- Conduct regular system audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that technical solutions meet business needs.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions to drive consensus on system design and architecture decisions.
Security and Compliance
- Ensure that all systems and architectures comply with security standards and best practices.
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols to protect company data and assets.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure systems meet compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems architecture, design, and implementation utilizing the following technologies: My SQL, MSSQL, Linux, Networking, Cloud migration, Active Directory
Proven experience in leading technical projects and teams.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of system architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Proficiency in cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
