12831 Developer/Programmer Analyst 3

Our client in Southlake, Texas is seeking a Java Database Developer – Level III to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining database-driven Java applications, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. This role involves collaboration across teams, with a focus on delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

8 years’ experience with strong, hands-on experience in Java development, including extensive experience with J2EE, Servlet and related technologies; 8 years’ strong, hands-on, experience in building and consuming Web Services (SOAP/REST); 8 years required strong, hands-on development experience implementing applications utilizing any J2EE Application Server, Java security authentication and authorization of service and user accounts; 8 years’ required hands-on proficiency in using Servlets, Spring, and Spring Batch for web application development; 8 years required hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitLab, Maven & Jenkins; 8 years required hands-on experience in Full Stack Development and working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and JSF and Prime Faces 7.0; 8 years required hands-on experience in design and development of XSD and Schematron data validation rules; 8 years required hands-on experience in at least one application server configuration (WildFly, Tomcat or Weblogic); 8 years expert level understanding of Mongo DB and Postgres databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, aggregate operations and performance tuning; 8 years experience in ad hoc data analysis and reporting; 8 years experience in designing & optimizing database queries and procedures in Postgres and Mongo DB; 8 years preferred, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; 8 years preferred, ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment; 8 years preferred, familiarity with Azure App Services & Cloud Services.

WORK HOURS AND LOCATION:
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the client.  Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.

Contractor may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested. Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and pre-approved through the Agency.

Position will be remote. Program will allow candidates who are located within the United States. Contractor may be required to work remotely at client’s discretion, up to 100 percent of the time.
