Join Our Client’s Team as an Accounting Assistant!
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Accounting Assistant to become a vital part of our client’s family-oriented team! This on-site position, from 8 AM to 5 PM, offers an incredible opportunity to work within a thriving environment that values professionalism and common sense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain separation of two distinct companies while using proprietary software tailored for the industry.
- Match purchase orders with invoices and attach invoices to checks prior to mailing.
- Order Certificates of Insurance.
- Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, record-keeping, and communication with vendors and customers.
- Sort, date stamp, and distribute all incoming mail and packages.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the construction industry or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using standard office equipment and software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
