12874 Systems Analyst 3 – Hybrid

Our client in Austin, Texas Is seeking a Project Analyst 3 for a hybrid role.  Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Tuesdays) required to be onsite in Austin, Texas.  Only Local Residents will be considered for this position. 


The successful candidate will:

Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.  Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system.  Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.


Candidate will be responsible for the operations of SHARP secure cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software. Help develop patterns for automated provisioning, management, scalability and security. Ensure that all cloud solutions follow internally defined security and compliance standards and controls. Respond to and resolve application, and security cloud issues. Responsible for the overall vigor of the platform including production issues, troubleshooting, monitoring system capacity using various software, working with other technical teams and stakeholder.


Job responsibilities include
• Monitor and maintain multiple environments for increase observability
• Develop tools to continuously improve maintainability, monitoring, security and scalability of cloud deployments.
• Operations support and enhancement of the SHARP platform

 

Minimum Requirements:

10RequiredExperience in establishing proactive controls to monitor the health of various AWS services to improve reliability of tools/applications.
10RequiredExperience in supporting, maintaining, monitoring, and securing various AWS IaaS and PaaS services.
8RequiredExperience in improving the security of various services based on zero trust model.
8RequiredDemonstrated experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting network issues.
4PreferredStrong Programming skills
2PreferredSplunk experience strongly preferred
2PreferredExperience or Knowledge of Dev/Ops concepts
1PreferredAWS SysOps Administrator Certification.
1PreferredEffectively manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting assignments, and switch quickly between assignments, as required.
1PreferredExcellent oral and written communication skills.
