Our client in Duluth, Georgia is seeking a Property Tax Specialist to assist with property tax payments and renditions for commercial properties. The role involves managing approximately 100 filings, which will be divided among the team. This position requires knowledge of property tax rules, filing processes, and payment procedures, as well as intermediate Excel skills. This is a hybrid role with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. Key Responsibilities
- Handle property tax payments and renditions for commercial properties.
- Work with Excel spreadsheets and PDF documents to manage filings.
- Ensure compliance with property tax regulations and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
- Address any remediations related to property tax filings.
- Collaborate with the team and report to the hiring manager.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in property tax or a similar role.
- Familiarity with property tax rules, filings, and payment processes.
- Knowledge of specific jurisdictions, laws, or regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP functionality) at an intermediate level.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- This is a contract position expected to last 3-4 months, with a hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite in Duluth, Georgia, 3 days remote).
