Our client in Acton, Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion Project Billing and Costing Solution Architect Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. This role focuses on resolving issues related to an existing implementation of Oracle Fusion Project Financial Management (PFM). The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and fixing problems, redesigning and reconfiguring the application where required, and ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
· Primary Responsibility: Resolve issues related to the current implementation of Oracle Fusion Project Billing and Costing, and redesign and reconfigure where required to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
· Solution Assessment: Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing implementation to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and issues.
· Redesign and Reconfiguration: Lead the redesign and reconfiguration efforts to address identified problems and improve system performance.
· Validation and Updates: Validate the current application architecture and configuration, making updates where required to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
· Implementation Support: Provide hands-on support during the reimplementation process, including configuration, customization, and integration with other Oracle Fusion applications.
· Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs.
· Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively use the Oracle Fusion modules.
· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimizations, leveraging Oracle Fusion capabilities to enhance overall project financial management.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology is preferred. Oracle Certified Professional is a plus.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of implementation experience in Oracle Fusion Project Financial Management, with a focus on project billing and costing.
· Minimum of 10 years of Oracle application implementation experience.
· Experience in implementing core financial fusion applications.
· Experience in fixing and optimizing existing implementations is highly desirable.
· Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Project Billing, Project Costing, Project Contracts, Subledger Accounting, General Ledger, Payables and Receivable modules.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and design effective solutions.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
