Our client in Austin, Texas is seeking a Project Manager 3, who lives within a 50 mile radius of Austin, Texas.  This is a hybrid on-site/telework position.  The successful candidate will meet the specifications outlined below.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on your resume.  Proof of certification may be requested.


Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company.  As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on.  Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done. 
Our client is requesting a Project Manager (PM) to work with program and IT to implement Invoice Tracking System replacement project activities.  This includes, but is not limited to:  facilitate meetings, manage the project milestones and deliverables and change request, manage risks and issues, track project budget, manage project scope, complete various reporting, etc. to ensure the project is completed on time and under budget.

10RequiredSkilled in managing project with implementations across large organizations. Experience should include developing and managing project plans, documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans
10RequiredAbility to research, gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems
10RequiredExperience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, and facilitate the SDLC process
10RequiredExperience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholder. Must possess strong communication and presentation skills.
10RequiredAbility to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates and conduct regular project team meetings
10RequiredAbility to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
10RequiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
8RequiredAgile methodology, overseeing and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments align with project timelines
8RequiredAgile Experience – Managing the project with feature driven sprints
5PreferredExperience implementing and using agile methodologies and best practices for 1 or more State of Texas Agencies
5PreferredPrior experience in healthcare or Public Health
2PreferredPMP Certification
