13074 Human Resource / Accounting Assistant

Our client in Richardson, Texas is seeking a versatile and results-driven Human Resources Professional and Accounting Assistant with a proven ability to enhance organizational growth through effective HR practices, strategic planning, and operational support. This full-time, in-office position (Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM) plays a critical role in supporting the Controller, HR functions, and overall office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, proficiency in basic financial and HR tasks, and the ability to ensure accountability and efficiency across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Human Resources Management:
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and organizational efficiency.
    • Coordinate employee performance reviews, providing timely feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Administer benefits and compensation strategies to support employee satisfaction and retention.
    • Participate in HR investigations to address employee concerns and ensure workplace compliance with company policies.
  • Accounting Support:
    • Assist with accounting tasks, including reconciliation of accounts and processing invoices for healthcare, recruitment, and operational expenses.
    • Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office tools to perform financial reporting and account management.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in HR policies, employee retention strategies, and benefits administration.
  • Expertise in onboarding programs, employment law, and organizational development.
  • Experience participating in HR investigations to resolve workplace issues and ensure compliance.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA in progress preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional).
  • Proven experience in HR roles, demonstrating the ability to manage onboarding, employee engagement strategies, and HR investigations.
  • Familiarity with accounting functions and financial reconciliation processes.
