Our client in Dallas, Texas is seeking an experienced Program Manager, Services Accounting to join their headquarters team in Dallas. This role is responsible for overseeing services accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and supporting the reporting needs of internal business partners. The Program Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial data while driving continuous improvement across accounting and finance processes.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
- Partner with the FP&A team to support variance analysis and reporting of forecast-to-actual results
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing timely and accurate documentation and responses
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Services business partners to promote proactive and collaborative communication
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a public company environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in ERP systems (such as Oracle or SAP) and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
