Our client in Acton, Massachusetts is hiring a strong contract Power Platform resource to help a customer design, build, and roll out copilots and agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio. In this role, you’ll partner with business and technical stakeholders to intake requests from a broad user base, translate needs into well-scoped solutions, and deliver scalable copilots that integrate with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and enterprise data sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and ongoing intake for new copilot/agent use cases; clarify goals, success criteria, and constraints
- Design and build copilots/agents in Copilot Studio, including topics, orchestration, actions, and conversation flows
- Implement integrations using Power Automate, connectors, Dataverse, APIs, and Microsoft 365 (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Build supporting Power Platform components as needed (Power Apps, Dataverse tables, security roles, environments)
- Apply best practices for prompt design, conversation UX, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop patterns
- Create concise documentation and enablement materials (handoff guides, FAQs, admin runbooks)
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience delivering solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
- Demonstrated experience building copilots/agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio (or comparable conversational/agent platforms)
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous requests into clear requirements and deliverables
- Excellent communication skills—comfortable working directly with business users and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power Platform ALM (solutions, pipelines, Git/Azure DevOps)
- Experience with Microsoft Teams extensibility and deploying copilots to Teams and other integration points
- Knowledge of Azure services used in integrations (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps)
- Experience working in consulting environments and managing multiple requests in parallel
